Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department.
The facility is a level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites.
It provides healthcare services to a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation needs.
The hospital houses a range of units, including childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatrics, and inpatient behavioral health.
Patient care is delivered through a team nursing and pod system.
The department is equipped with advanced medical equipment such as Zoll Defibrillators, blood transfusers, and point-of-care devices.
The expected patient ratios are 4:1 in the main emergency department and 6:1 in the fast track area.
Common diagnoses include end-stage renal disease, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and resilience, as they will work with a diverse patient population.
