Description:
Position requires a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including on-call responsibilities.
The nurse will participate in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Experience scrubbing cases is highly preferred, including familiarity with TAVR and Mitraclip procedures.
A radiation badge will be supplied.
The facility performs around 3000 cases per year.
The documentation system used is Cerner, with Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation.
Orientation includes 2 shifts specific to the unit.
Candidates must provide a high level of care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Weekend and holiday work is required every other weekend.
IV and Pharmacy teams are available 24/7.
The role involves managing patients with complex cardiac conditions in an accredited Chest Pain Center.
Candidates must complete a dysphagia exam prior to contract signing.
Scrub experience, including the types of cases previously handled, will be assessed during the interview process.
