Must-Have:
– Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
– Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring experience
– Experience with Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal
– Experience with accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, and central line management
– Cardiac drip titration experience with Diltiazem and Amiodarone
– Post cardiac cath experience

Description:
This position consists of 13 to 26 week contracts.
Request time off after booking is not allowed.
Any call-offs or additional requests for time off could possibly lead to cancellation.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6-7 on this unit.
Weekend shifts consist of 5-6 weekend shifts.
This unit monitors cardiac patients and administers cardiac drips, such as Dobutamine and Milrinone.
The unit performs sheath pulls, TR bands, and Femstop procedures.
The unit requires nurses to be familiar with medication and documentation systems.
Orientation consists of 24 hours.
All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to the start for this specialty.
Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed based on skill sets and census.
Consideration for RTO is permitted but limited to 7 days maximum.
Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week.
Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months are highly preferred at time of start.
All candidates should be flexible to other locations and units as necessary.
Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
No requests for time off will be allowed during the first week of a traveler’s assignment due to orientation.
