Must-Have:
Neuro experience, particularly with trauma, craniotomy, and pre/post surgery skills.
Strong neuro skills and experience with surgical trauma, chest tubes, cardiac drips titration, telemetry, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.

Description:
The role involves caring for patients in a post-operative setting.
You will work with patients diagnosed with conditions such as POD 1 craniotomy, neurosurgeries, abdominal surgeries, Whipples, continuous BiPap, HFNC, and chronic mechanical ventilation.
You will manage insulin gtt, arrhythmia management, trauma patients, sepsis, stroke rapid response transfers, and complex medical cases requiring a higher level of care.
Patient-to-nurse ratios will be 1:4-5.
Weekend work will be required every third week.
You may float within your scope to meet facility needs.
First-time travelers are accepted.
A strong understanding of charting in Epic is preferred.
You will be required to complete training modules prior to starting.
Candidates are expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals based on volume and census.
