1. 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU
2. Experience in PCU, Med/Surg, Tele
3. Critical thinking skills

Description:
2 years of recent ICU experience required.
Must have 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU.
Will float to ICU or other PCU units.
No first-time travelers accepted.
Critical thinking skills are essential.
Able to work with patients that may need rapid response.
36 or 48 hours per week contracts available.
Orientation duration is 8 hours.
Will orient to other transitional units.
Must present request for time off at the time of submission.
References required.
Candidates may float within hospitals or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Rehire eligibility will be checked every week.
Discuss with candidates whether they have previously worked at this facility.
Call response time is 1 hour, with weekday call from 8 PM to 6 AM.
Weekend call will be divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM.
Floating requirements apply during call hours.
Modules are billable and must be completed during orientation and annually.
