Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: Registered Nurse License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Must-Have: Travel experience

Job Description:

– Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds
– Joint Commission accredited and certified as a Chest Pain Center
– Level III Trauma Center
– Work in a location central to outdoor recreation activities
– Suitable for those who enjoy proximity to major cities
– Float to Intermediate Care Unit or Emergency Department holding area when needed
– Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
– Manage cases such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR
– Utilize Baxter pumps and Medhost Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
– Maintain patient ratios of 1:2
– Flexible shift preferences can be noted; day or night shifts potential, but no block schedule requests
– Scrub color is flexible; ensure professional attire
