Job Description:

– Work within a unit consisting of 26 beds and approximately 52 staff members.
– Night shift staffing includes a minimum of 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and an Operating Room Technician.
– Manage patient ratios that range from 1:4 for antepartum patients to 1:1 or 1:2 for active labor patients, depending on conditions.
– Utilize equipment such as Alaris pumps and electronic medical records systems like Meditech and CPN charting.
– Handle laboring patients, antepartum cases, C-sections, cerclages, and emergency department obstetric patients.
– Preferred flexibility and autonomy in working style.
– Exposure to opportunities in mom-baby or couplet care is a plus.
