Job Description:
– Unit Information: The unit comprises 47 beds with a staff of 65.
– Staffing Composition: Night shift includes 1 Charge RN/CNC, 9 nurses, 4 LNAs, 1 Monitor Tech.
– Patient Ratios: 1:5 on nights.
– Equipment Utilized: Alaris Pumps, Bladder scanners, Atrium chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, Vein finder, etc.
– Electronic Medical Records: Sunrise system.
– Patient Population: Med-surg telemetry patients with moderate acuity, including vascular and bariatric patients.
– Preferred Experience: Bariatric and cardiac experience is advantageous.
– Personality Fit: Looking for hardworking individuals.
– Floating Areas: Med-surg telemetry units.
– Dress Code: Scrubs, no assigned color.
– Weekends and On-call: Required every other weekend.
