Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

License: Registered Nurse (RN)

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have: Trach Care and G-Tube experience

Job Description:
– Provide compassionate care to patients with spinal and brain injuries.
– Communicate effectively and educate patients and families.
– Perform trach care, manage tube feeding, and operate ventilators.
– Utilize Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, and negative pressure wound therapy equipment.
– Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner and ITW systems.
– Adapt to float to other units as needed.
– Work every third weekend from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
– Exhibit a self-learner attitude and willingness to educate patients and families.
– Adhere to the dress code by wearing galaxy blue scrubs.
