Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Telemetry – Neurology Unit

Job Duration: 13-week contract

Shift: 19:00-07:30

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience

License: Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Certifications: BLS certification

Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Job Description:

– Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
– Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
– Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
– Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.
– Develop clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
– Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
– Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
