Shift: 19:00-07:00, Weekend Rotating

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU

License: Active Texas RN License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
– Hemodynamic monitoring
– Care for ventilated patients
– Post CABG care

Job Description:
– Work in a high acuity unit with procedures like ECMO, heart transplants, and CABG.
– Utilize Meditech documentation system with scheduling requirements that include working every other weekend.
– Be prepared to float as needed to other ICUs or occasionally to the Progressive Care Unit depending on volume and acuity.
– Participate in bedside shift reports with updates to white boards.
– Maintain a professional appearance adhering to the dress code: Royal Blue scrubs are required.
– Tattoos should be covered when possible; visible piercings, other than earrings, are prohibited.
– Ensure clean and neatly trimmed hair, beards, and mustaches; hair must be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer.
– Comply with attendance policies and maintain a positive patient experience.
– Collaborate and work under intensivist guidance for multiple procedures.
