Must-Have:
Proficient in cardiac monitoring.
Knowledge of IV therapy, including PICC line management and dressing changes.
Experience with IV medications such as antibiotics, heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, and cardizem.
Expertise in tracheostomy management.
Intermediate or step-down experience.
Description:
The facility is an academic medical center known for its advanced heart care treatment.
The center is accredited for providing comprehensive heart attack care and treatment 24/7.

The unit consists of 21 beds.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4:1 but can range to 5:1 or 3:1 for BiPAP teams.
The team utilizes equipment such as BiPAPs, high flow, telemetry monitoring, and occasional cardiac drips.
The unit uses the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
The facility provides acute inpatient and outpatient rehab services.
The unit seeks candidates with a positive attitude, flexibility with changes on the unit, and excellent critical thinking skills in stressful situations.
A sense of humor is valued to help relieve stress among team members and build trust with patients and families.
The dress code requires galaxy blue tops and blue or black bottoms for scrubs.
