Travel Nurse RN – Oncology – $1,622 per week in San Antonio, TX

Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Oncology

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12×3 – Rotating days and nights from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in oncology nursing, with experience in Mediports, PICCs, and central lines

**License:** Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) required

**Must-Have:**
– Oncology experience
– Experience with Mediports, PICCs, and central lines
– Ability to float as needed according to organizational policy

**Job Description:**

– Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related procedures
– Perform central line and mediport access, as well as lab draws
– Conduct CHG baths, including central lines and dressings
– Administer blood product transfusions
– Follow all protocols for temperature and chemo administration
– Maintain clean and neat professional appearance following the dress code, including navy scrubs for RNs
– Ensure body art is covered as feasible and adhere to the policy on visible piercings
– Comply with organizational guidelines, including attendance policies and central line dressing changes
– Demonstrate commitment to patient-focused care and uphold the values and mission of the organization
