Job Description:

– Work in the Acute Care Specialty Unit on the 9th floor of Building 4.
– Provide patient care in a unit with 29 beds and a night shift staff comprising 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs.
– Maintain estimated patient ratios of 1:6.
– Utilize equipment such as PCA pumps and IV pumps.
– Use Meditech for electronic medical records.
– Perform typical procedures on the unit, including managing central lines and medication drips.
– Exhibit a positive attitude and be engaged in patient care.
– Adhere to unit guidelines and policies.
