– Minimum of 2 years of experience with at least 1 travel assignment or 4 years of experience without traveling.
– Flexible with changing assignments during the shift.

Job Description:

– Work on a 12-hour night shift schedule.
– Participate in a labor pool specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg).
– Rotate weekends with permanent staff members.
– Participate in holiday rotations.
– Floating required; MedSurg may float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other specified units.
– Use MEDITECH – 6.1 charting system.
– Work in a hospital environment with 24/7 access to pharmacy and respiratory therapy teams.
– Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
– Assist following a typical aide-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:8 to 1:10 depending on needs.
– Engage in a monitored environment across different units.
– Responsible for patient care that includes BIPAP, CPAP, and other respiratory support technologies.
– Participate in an orientation session consisting of 16 hours.
– Required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.
