Must-Have:
– Telemetry experience
– Background in managing cardiac patients post-procedure

Job Description:

– Work in a 26-bed Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit
– Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
– Collaborate with a team including Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, Patient Care Technician, and Unit Secretary
– Utilize equipment such as pacemakers
– Document using Meditech system
– Engage in self-scheduling with requisite weekend shifts
– No on-call requirements
– Float according to established policies, if necessary, to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, OSS units
– Perform titration of IV medication (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.)
– Adhere to unit-specific and hospital-wide policies and procedures
– Wear required scrubs (Royal blue top, black pants)
– Participate in enhancing patient experience
– Join a team recognized with outstanding department/team awards

Note: This is for a newly established Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit.
