Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must-Have: ICU experience, proficiency with Cerner charting system

Job Description:

– Work collaboratively within the ICU, providing exceptional care for critical cardiac patients in a Cardiac Stepdown setting.
– Float as needed within your skill set to support critical care areas.
– Handle common diagnoses and treatments such as STEMI, Hypertensive Crisis, Chest Pain, CABG, Carotid or Femoral vessel surgery.
– Perform special procedures including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Bedside Bronchoscopy, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).
– Adapt to an ICU environment with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 2:1 to 3:1, depending on patient acuity in the unit.
– Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
– Wear required scrub colors as per facility policy.
– Integrate seamlessly into the team and contribute positively towards the care plan established for patients.
