A facility in Auburn, NY is looking for a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN). 2 years of experience required. New York State (NYS) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Must be able to interpret own tele strips. Travel experience preferred. Must be willing to float when needed. Every other weekend is required. NIHSS certification and 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke related topic are required prior to start. IV experience required, facility does not have IV team. Facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the duration of the assignment. ***AUBURN IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING CANDIDATES RESIDING WITHIN 60 MILES OF THE FACILITY***Requirements:At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment. OT will be billed after 48 hours for 48 hours contracts. If a pushback is needed, the bill rate will be decreased by $10. vaccine is NOT required. Per facility guidelines, please provide proof of vaccination or declination.Unit Hospital. 90 beds. Charting: Paragon. RN: PT is 1:6-7. Proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract.
