ARMStaffing is looking for RN – CVICU in Lake Havasu City, Arizona

  • Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift
  • Unit Details: 423165001 – ICU

Job Description:
As a Travel CVICU RN, you’ll care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, and bypass grafts. You’ll monitor hemodynamics, manage critical drips, and support patients through their most delicate recovery phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to post-cardiac surgery patients in the CVICU

  • Monitor vital signs, manage vasoactive drips, and assess for complications

  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Operate advanced cardiac monitoring and life support equipment

  • Document and communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or Open Heart Recovery experience

  • Strong knowledge of hemodynamics, ventilators, and cardiac pharmacology

  • Ability to adapt quickly in high-acuity, high-pressure settings
