Qualifications:
• 1 year exp required in PCU/Stepdown. Oncology preferred, NOT required – WILL TRAIN
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication system required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1st time travelers accepted.
• EPIC charting exp REQUIRED
Contract Duration: 26 to 39 weeks with potential for permanent role.

Job Description:
• Nurse-to-patient ratios adjusted based on acuity.
• Flexibility to float to different units within same specialty.
• Regular work schedule of 36 to 40 shifts per week during orientation, then 36 shifts afterward.
• Rotating day and night shifts every 4 weeks.
• Mandatory availability for alternating weekend shifts.
Required Skills:
– Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
– Knowledge of Rapid Response Teams.
– Competency in gastrointestinal care.
– Proficient in feeding tube care and management.
– Skilled in IV therapy and phlebotomy.
– Previous experience with blood product administration.
– Understanding of peripheral line care and management.
– Proficiency in starting IVs.
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience in oncology, specifically in inpatient oncology and/or outpatient chemo infusion center.
RN Focus:
• Dedication to full contract term, upskilling, and oncology knowledge expansion.
• Willingness to obtain chemo competency.
• Access to resources for ONS Chemo certification course.
