Need t Description: Unit Notes:50 mile radius rule – ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE’S UNEXPIRED DRIVER’S LICENSEDepartment: Operating Room | RN- # Suites: 3 OR rooms and 1 endo room.- Average # of cases per day: 6-25 depending on specialty.- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS-making a requirement.- Common Cases: Endoscopes, Cataracts, Lap Choles, lap appys, C-Section, Tubal Ligation, Hysteroscopy, D7C, Endometrial Ablation, Total Joints, Shoulder and Knee scopes, Fractures, Excision, No robotics.- Experience: Must have experience in all the specialties that we offer- eyes and endoscopy are highly preferred not must have. Must have at least 1 year experience, ok with 1st time travelers. Will need to have experience in Outpatient Surgery (OPD), Preop and PACU for call outs (Preop/PACU exp required)- Scrubbing required – RN’s: No scrubbing required.- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Lila Armentrout- PeriOp Supervisor.- OR techs: 4 plus 1 in training.- EMR: MedHost- Shifts & Scheduling: Monday-Friday 6:45-3:15- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes-around 10-11 days of call a month including weekends. Call is 3p-7a.- Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, every 3rd weekend Friday 3p to Mon 7a.- Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, staff cover at least 2 holidays a year.- What is call response time: 30 min response time.- Floating (outpatient surgery), Preop and PACU for callouts.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Grey scrubs-provided.- Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 days max to float with someone. Cancellation Policy:2 shifts per 13 week contract and date completed under Med Sol notes Charting – EPIC experience required BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift , 6:45am-3:15pm. On call hours required, around 10 days of call a month. Need to able to work PACU to recovery patients on callouts. Have experience in same day surgery if possible but willing to train.
